Inteco Group took part in RAO/CIS Offshore 2021 at the end of September
St. Petersburg hosted the 15th International Conference and Exhibition on the Development of Oil and Gas Resources in the Russian Arctic and the Continental Shelf “RAO/CIS Offshore 2021”.
The RAO/CIS Offshore 2021 Forum, which is today the main event in the field of considering the development of the continental shelf of the seas of the Arctic Ocean, was opened by the Vice Governor of St. Petersburg Vladimir Knyaginin. He conveyed a message from the Governor of the city Alexander Beglov to the participants and guests of the event at the first plenary session.
“The large-scale forum has become one of the most important events in the global oil and gas industry, a recognized platform for business communication and promotion of initiatives for the development of the Arctic zone. For a decade and a half, it has been bringing together scientists and industrialists, representatives of government and business.
St. Petersburg is rightfully considered one of the largest industrial and scientific centers. More than 200 organizations with competencies in the study and development of the Arctic are concentrated here. More than 40 design bureaus and organizations are engaged in the development of technologies and equipment for the development of offshore fields. Our shipbuilders launch unique nuclear icebreakers. The construction of the ice-resistant self-propelled platform “North Pole”, which has no analogues in the world, is nearing completion, which will resume regular Arctic research. I am sure that the decisions of the forum will contribute to strengthening the energy security of Russia and the implementation of important projects”, – Vladimir Knyaginin, the Governor of St. Petersburg, read out his greetings and wished the event participants fruitful work.
